There are a lot of tutorials that can be found on NetBeans.org (under "Docs and support"). Can we use those materials in our Java course?

Yes! All tutorials, technical articles, screencasts, etc. are free for you to use. Items "other than source code" are covered in Section 4c of the NetBeans Terms of Use.
