Why the warning and/or error marks are still displayed on the diagram even after corrections are made and the document is valid?

The BPEL Designer provides two types of validation: real-time validation and explicit validation. Real-time validation is performed automatically once in a time period, as soon as the document is validated anew the error marks disappear if no more errors are found. Also you can invoke explicit validation.

To invoke validation, do one of the following:

  • In the Source view, right-click the source to invoke the pop-up menu and choose Validate XML (Alt-Shift-F9)
  • In the Design view, click the Validate XML button (Alt-Shift-F9) on the Editor toolbar. You can validate the document manually or wait for a little while until automatic validation is preformed and the marks are removed.
