NetBeans Community Bug Fixing program (NetFIX)

NetFIX initiative is a logical complement to popular NetCAT programs and its main objective is to get volunteers from NetBeans community involved in bug fixing during stabilization phase of NetBeans releases. The basic concept was compiled on a NetFIX Defining chat on March 6th, 2009 by a group of 8 community developers interested in contributing code to NetBeans repository in an organized manner.

Membership in the NetFIX program is open to everybody but good knowledge of programming Java SE applications is recommended. Experience with some of NetBeans APIs is a big advantage. Please note that participation in the NetFIX team is time limited though.

We kindly ask all potential participants to get familiar with the bugfix contribution process and other responsibilities of NetFIX developer before joining the program. All contributors names will be mentioned in the credits.html and the most helpful developers will be rewarded of course. Don't just wait and fix your favourite bug yourself!

Smooth communication and cooperation in the NetFIX program is based on the following elements:

Mailing list Archived e-mail alias for communication between NetFIX developers. [View archive]
