See the detail info below about the updates. No OLH, No MSGHTML, only .properties files.

Sanity

  1. Download entire zip file, start NetBeans and do sanity check. Please use preferred platform. Internal: http://smetiste.czech.sun.com/builds/netbeans/6.1/fixes/latest/ml/zip/
  2. Check patch description
    1. tools>plugin
    2. installed modules tab
    3. check the description of modules e.g. "Ruby and Rails" module. Should have the additional info of the following. For the list of included fixed bugs please check <A HREF="http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans6.1PatchesInfo"> http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans6.1PatchesInfo</A>.

Staging

  1. Start NetBeans
  2. Tools > Plugins
  3. Modify UC url to the below
  4. Check updates

It seems that only 2 modules are available when we access to UC first time.

  • Auto Update UI
  • Auto Update Services

After you install these 2 modules and restart NetBeans, all updates will be visible. According to Rudolf, it's correct behavior.
