How do I set Ruby platform for a Ruby project?

In NetBeans 6.1 and later there is a Platform per Project scenario. So each project might have different platform assigned. To select a platform for project go to the project properties (project's context menu, Properties item) and in Run category select the platform you want to use in the Ruby Platform combobox.

How to register a new Ruby platform?

If the platform you want to use is not listed there, you might add it through the Ruby Platform Manager. Either press Manage button next to the platform combobox or go to Menu | Tools | Ruby Platforms, add your platform there and choose it in the project's properties
