How does publishing on Plugin Portal Update Center work?

Plugins that satisfy minimal Quality Criteria and also meet basic Update Center Requirements can get to the official NetBeans Plugin Portal Update Center (PPUC) which will then expose such plugins to hundreds thousands NetBeans IDE users via built-in Plugins Manager.

In order to achieve this a plugin owner must request verification of his/her plugin. This action notifies plugin verifiers - a group of plugin testers from NetBeans community. Plugin verifiers process incoming verification requests and decide if plugins are suitable for the PPUC or not. It is possible to check status of plugin verification and also cancel verification request anytime.

If two or more plugin verifiers agrees to publishing a plugin on the PPUC and nobody disagrees, the plugin is automatically added to the PPUC and becomes available in the NetBeans Plugins Manager.
