Why does the IDE says it is "looking for thread lock problems" but does not show anything?

Try clicking the Thread Usage indicator again. If your program does not use threads, or has no thread lock problems, nothing will show here until the end of the program run, where the Details tab will be updated to say that no thread locks were found. If your program is single threaded, you might want to disable the Thread Usage tool.

To disable the Thread Usage tool:
Right-click the project > Properties > Profile > deselect Thread Usage
