The level of detail doesn't need to be too great. See http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/EmbeddedWebServer for an example. Another example with a bit more detail is http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/PluginOptionsUI. Now to the actual proposal... The UI makes it appear that undeploying an application from the domain will undeploy it from all the instances... is that true? This probably needs some clarification... Please add some discussion of the change of semantics of the Undeploy and Enable/Disable actions on an application, module or resource (A/M/R) in a clustered environment to the spec. Is that what folks would want in their IDE? I happen to think yes. while you are in development (which is what an IDE is for) pushing the bits to multiple instances and clusters each time I change a file will be expensive. Does this list of servers in the Manage Targets Dialog include or exclude the servers that the A/M/R is already associated with? Does the list of servers include the DAS implicitly or explicitly? I disagree with the notion that undeployment should move into the Manage Targets dialog... If the undeploy/enable/disable does go into the manage targets dialog, should we change the node structure to NOT expose the targets, too? vbk
