Oracle 10g Release 2 database and the JDBC driver ojdbc14.jar

I create a connection, i can see the tables and data in the database, all works well, but when i try to bind (by drop and drag) a table component to a database table , i get the following error:

java.lang.RuntimeException: java.sql.SQLException: statement handle not executed: getMetaData at com.sun.data.provider.impl.CachedRowSetDataProvider.getMetaData(CachedRowSetDataProvider.java:1374) at com.sun.data.provider.impl.CachedRowSetDataProvider.getFieldKeys(CachedRowSetDataProvider.java:494) ...............

see the attached message.log.

I found in the release notes , that Visual Web Pack works well with Oracle 10g, so what i am doing wrong ?? Wold be gratefully for some infos.

Best regards, Eugen.

N.B: My App works well with the DataDirect Oracle Driver.

I found the solution for my problem in the Issue # 85597:

The "New JDBC Driver" wizard selects the incorrect OracleDriver class. For JDK 1.4 and above, the class at oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver is no longer the recommended driver class, and its use is now being discouraged. The current recommended driver class is oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver (which extends oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver).

Regards, Eugen.
