Why does my session reinitialize after navigating 20 pages on Internet Explorer 6/7?
This is a browser issue. The session is correctly maintained when cookies are not used so IE is not properly handling cookies. To workaround.
In Internet Explorer.
1. Go to Tools > Internet Options
2. select Privacy tab
3. Change settings from Medium (which is the default) to 'High' or 'Block All Cookies'
4. Press OK
5. Restart All IE browsers
