VwpFAQCreateComponents

How can I build my own components for Visual Web?

Visual Web Pack, which has its roots in Sun Java Studio Creator, was designed to be an easy-to-use tool to write webapps. It comes with a built-in set of JavaServer Faces (JSF) components, but users often want more.

VWP like Creator relies on JavaBeans. The JSF components must follow some constraints and the BeanInfos must contain information about them. The article uses a code generator but it can also be written manually.
