Test suite:Sample availability and creation

Purpose: Testing availability
Setup: Glassfish registered.

  1. Availability and creating samples
    1. Open New project -> Samples -> Web
    2. Open New project -> Samples -> Web -> Visual JSF
    3. Open New project -> Samples -> EnterpriseEXPECTED RESULT:
Samples shown in directories: 1. Java Web Samples a) JSTL Examples b) JSP Examples c) Servlet Examples d) WebJpa e) JsfJpa f) JsfJpaCrud 2. Java EE a)Annotation Override Interceptor b)Customer CMP c)Interceptor Stateless d)Lottery Annotation e)Servlet Stateless
    1. Create every sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
       All samples are created w/o exceptions in the process, no errors for resolving appears.


Test suite: Actions on samples

Purpose: Test action for every sample.
Setup: All samples opened in editor

    1. Invoke Build on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project successfully built.
    2. Invoke Clean&Build on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project successfully cleaned and then built.
    3. Invoke Clean on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project successfully cleaned.
    4. Invoke Verify on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project successfully verified.
    5. Invoke Generate Javadoc on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project javadoc successfully generated.
    6. Invoke Run on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project successfully built, then deployed and finally shown in the new browser window.
    7. Invoke Undeploy&Deploy on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project successfully built and then deployed.
    8. Invoke Debug on sampleEXPECTED RESULT:
      Project successfully built,deployed and then shown in new browser window, all in debug mode of the server.

Purpose: Test functionality of samples.
Setup: Tested sample deployed and its page opened in browser.
