Test suite: Getting Started with JAX-WS Web Services

Purpose: Test the localized UI for Web Service creation/configuration, and Web Service Client generation.
Setup: GlassFish V2 or Tomcat
You need to install bundled GlassFish V2 or Tomcat. If you don't have them, you can install one of them from the NetBeans installer. (Make sure to click option button to install Tomcat)

  1. Do the tutorial
    1. Do the tutorial "Getting Started with JAX-WS Web Services":
    2. Check the translated UI messages and product behavior.
    • EXPECTED RESULT: The translated UI is good to understand. The product works without any errors. The Web Service Test Page is displayed in English.
  2. Create Web Service Clients with your native language (Optional)
    1. Follow the tutorial "Getting Started with JAX-WS Web Services", and use your native language in the Web Service Clients:
    2. In "Client 1: Java Class in Java SE ApplicationReplace", replace "Result =" with your native language.
    3. In "Client 2: Servlet in Web Application", replace "Servlet ClientServlet at " with your native language.
    4. In "Client 3: JSP Page in Web Application", replace "Result = " with your native language.
    • EXPECTED RESULT: All the funciton should work with your native language labels, and the created clients should run without errors.
