Test suite: JFS Visual Web App. Quick Start

Purpose: Check Visual Web feature (Designer, PageFlow, and Query Editor) in your localized IDE
Setup: GlassFish is required. If not installed, please install GlassFish V2 from NetBeans installer. And you need to run JavaDB bundled in the NetBeans IDE.

  1. Do the tutorial
    • Comments: If you use the tutorial translated for 6.0, please note that you must manually add the binding attribute to components in 6.1 Visual Web JSF application. To do so, right-click each component and choose Add Binding Attribute. For more information.
    1. Do the tutorial "Getting Started With NetBeans Visual Web JSF Application Development": http://www.netbeans.org/kb/60/web/intro.html
    2. Check the translated UI messages and product behavior
    • EXPECTED RESULT: The translated UI is good to understand. The product works without any errors.
  2. Create JSP with your native language (Optional)
