Should I use Sun Java Studio Creator or Visual Web in NetBeans?
Sun Java Studio Creator has been now migrated into NetBeans since 6.0. NetBeans with Web and Java EE distribution delivers the latest Visual Web development functionality which consists of most Sun Java Studio Creator functionality and more. In addition, the visual portlet development support for NB is currently in Beta 3 quality. More on the latest version of portlet can be found here. It is available on the Beta Update Center and can installed using the Plugin Manager (Tools -> Plugins).
In short, it is strongly reccommended to use the latest version of NetBeans with Web and Java EE Bundle instead of Sun Java Studio Creator since that is where updates or patches can be made available and the Creator product will eventually be EOL'ed.
