Localization Quality Assurance

Eager to find out how look like your contribution once integrated into NetBeans?
During translation you might miss context. Once translation gets integrated into NetBeans, it is sometimes not accurate. A good practice to ensure translation is fitting to context is to perform localization test suites... To achieve that, the first thing to do is to get the latest status of translation visible in your IDE:

  • Go to the Localization UC page. There you'll find out how to quickly download/install a localization plugin for your language. Once this done, restart your IDE and you'll see the latest version of translation in your IDE!
  • Then, remains to get information about testing; for that go to NetBeans Localization Test Specs

And if you'd like to know more about how many bugs are filled for your language, which are those bugs and basically have an easy way to keep control of translated NetBeans quality ; feel free to consult the Localization Bugs Dashboard below:

Note: If you'd like to see your language tracked, feel free to e-mail me directly at jeremie@netbeans.org or at dev@translatedfiles.netbeans.org!
