What's New and Noteworthy

M8 contains new features you might find interesting. In brief following features were added and tested in M8:

• Game Builder
• New custom components: File Browser,SMS Composer,Login Screen,PIM Browser
• Screen Design

M9 will be stabilized during a week of April 23rd and released around April 30th.

Quality status

M8 has no serious issues users should be aware of when downloading it. M8 stabilization week helped to get more bugs fixed and resolved than M7.

Stoppers fixed

• 97875 - Project Type "J2ME" may be changed to JavaME
• 98092 - New custom components imports can not be resolved
• 98096 - NPE AbstractInfoDisplayPresenter on SD
• 98217 - Deadlock & NPE MidpTypes from TIMEproperty
• 98624 - Wrong path from the SVG file
• 98481 - AssertionError while Custom component

Bug counts

• 48 bugs RESOLVED
• 35 of them were FIXED
• there was 53 issues filled during M8 stabilization period
