Report Exceptions Life cycle

The document describes supported use cases and states for exception reports.

Exception report states

  • OPEN: The exception was just reported by user.
  • ISSUE: The report is already mapped to existing IZ issue.
  • IGNORE: The exception report missing important info for reproducing the issue and the bug can't be reproduced.
  • FIXED: The bug is fixed.

Use cases

  • Create new Issuezilla issue from exception report: Go to unmapped reports list and choose report and click enter link.
  • Map the report for existing IZ issue
  • Mark the issue as IGNORE in case when not enough info is provided
