Greetings to the Netbeans Community!
My name is Josh Juneau and I am a member of the Netbeans Community Docs team. I have been working with the Netbeans IDE since version 4 and I use it each day for JavaEE, Jython, Groovy, and Swing/JavaFX development. I hope to contribute some useful information for using the Netbeans IDE, and aalso hope to learn from others.
Most recently, I was a member of the NetCAT 6.5 team and helped to test the 6.5 release. As a NetCAT member, I reported 32 bugs and recommended 3 enhancements for the IDE. I look forward to working on future NetCAT teams.
I am a full-time database administrator and application developer for Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Illinois, USA. In my job I work primarily with Oracle databases, but also use MS-SQL a bit. I spend lots of my work time developing Java, PL/SQL, Groovy, and Jython applications.
Jython is one of my favorite languages to use for developing Java applications. I am the editor of the Jython Monthly newsletter, as well as the host for the Jython Podcast.
I plan to update this page as my work with Netbeans becomes more involved.
