Introduction

This document is the umbrella top-level document establishing features of the JavaFX Plugin. The document reflects and covers an actual development process of the plugin from an idea up to the implementation.

The JavaFX Plugin is an extension to the NetBeans IDE that supports JavaFX development. The JavaFX Plugin is an open source project. It is one of the series of plugins for scripting languages that are supported by the NetBeans IDE. The JavaFX Plugin is intended to provide a comfortable environment for a developer at each stage of a JavaFX project. This is achieved through integrating the JavaFX Plugin specific features into the NetBeans IDE.
