The NetBeans project now offers the NetBeans DVD Starter Kit as a free ISO image. Download the Starter Kit ISO image here.

• The Starter Kit includes all bundles (the NetBeans IDE for Java SE/EE/ME, Profiler, Ruby, PHP, C/C++), the JDK, application servers, and documentation.
• The Starter Kit is available for all major operating systems and will run on Windows, Linux, Mac OS and Solaris.
• The Starter Kit is available in English as well as in Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Brazillian Portuguese.

Additional functionality can be included later using the Update Center under Tools > Plugins. If you cannot use the Update Center in the IDE to install updates and plugins, you can download modules and install them manually.
