When I try to add a remote development host no tool collections are found on the remote server although I have compilers installed there. What can I do about it?

The reason can be in the ".bashrc" setup script of the user name you are using for remote connection. Please review the script, find all output that is written to stdout, and redirect that output to stderr (or just comment out those messages). In the current version this output can confuse our routines during connection to the remote host.

Another reason could be that your login shell (the one that is specified in /etc/passwd) is ksh. For now ksh login shell is not supported by remote development. To fix this, change your login shell to bash or sh.
