Where can I find a NetBeans user chat?
IRC
Download one of these free IRC Clients if you don't have one.
- Join the
#netbeans
channel on the {irc.freenode.net} server for the NetBeans user chat. You can even use a Java applet client if you don't have any other IRC client or you are behind a firewall which doesn't allow IRC traffic. This Java applet for NetBeans users is here
- If you are a developer for NetBeans or are developing on the NetBeans platform, please feel free to join the
#nbdev
channel on the {irc.freenode.net} server. You can even use a Java applet client if you don't have any other IRC client or you are behind a firewall which doesn't allow IRC traffic. This Java applet for NetBeans developers is here
Note: You need to be a registered user with freenode.net before you can send private messages. This is to block spam. This is pretty simple, see http://freenode.net/faq.shtml#privmsg for instructions.
