2. In NetBeans, go to the "Services" tab (next to "Projects" and "Files"), select "Databases" --> "Drivers", right-click and select "New Driver...".

3. Click "Add.." and find the SQL Server driver (path should be similar to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib\"), and select all three files ("msbase.jar", "mssqlserver.jar", and "msutil.jar").

4. On any driver selection page, select "Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (Microsoft driver)" instead of the JDBC-ODBC bridge.
